PROPOSAL Studio-C Statement

Adopt a 21st Century Digital Arts Training Program For Your School,
Arts Center or Community
- with Studio-C

Studio-C is seeking communities, art centers, resorts, organizations and learning institutions that are lacking in the following areas; video moviemaking courses, design training, digital photography training, art-house screenings, Apple store type workshops and an all-around 21st century Digital Arts program. Studio-C wants to bring it to you.

The digital arts workshops include:

  • The Digital Video Workshop; shoot, light, record and edit
  • The Final Cut Pro Non-Linear Editing Workshop
  • Digital Photography; shoot, light and edit with Aperture software
  • The Podcasting Workshop with GarageBand
  • The Presentation Workshop with Keynote
  • Various design workshops, Intro to web design, Flash, Branding
  • Community Service workshops include the Apple iLife 09 series and others

Studio-C comes with instructors, curriculums and equipment. They bring passion, interest and experience. They are looking to create a digital arts curriculum for learning institutions, organizations and communities. Studio-C workshops could put a place on the map, add momentum to Main Street, boost a business, make a dull school cool, market a municipality, promote a place in paradise, activate an art center, rally a resort, motivate a movement and inspire an individual. It could take a community from digital arts "zero" to digital arts "hero".

  • Studio-C has a screen, projector, speakers, silent generator and more
  • Studio-C has some Apple computers for hands-on training use
  • They bring, a few video cameras and digital still cameras, two turntables, a mixer, music

How you benefit:

  • A Digital Arts program is certain to raise your profile and increase your demand
  • Mac based Digital Arts programs are only available in major cities and universities
  • There is relatively little risk and investment with this approach.
  • Studies have shown that interest in particular art classes prevents absentees
  • A Digital Arts program makes a great marketing and promotional device
  • Studio-C will offer workshops or create an entire digital arts curriculum for you
  • Studio-C will offer free (community service) Apple iLife presentations and more
  • Digital Arts courses will seamlessly integrate with your existing programs

What is the investment?

  • The only need is that of a contract agreement and a room or rooms to setup
  • A standard classroom and an additional studio space (another room) is sufficient
  • Eventually, additional Apple computers and software might be a worthwhile investment
  • The only initial investment is confidence in the program and instructor compensation
  • Instructor compensation could be for Studio-C to; train your people, or to become your people
  • To train your people, Studio-C charges $4K for one week (includes 2 instructors, equipment and curriculum)
  • Additional training is as follows: two weeks: $6K, three weeks: $8K and four weeks: $10K
  • To become your people, the fee is open to discussion. We have enough equipment to get started
